Each aircraft has a seating capacity of <strong>174 passengers<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The expansion adds to RwandAir\u2019s existing fleet, which includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>1 Airbus A330-300<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 Airbus A330-200<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>6 Boeing 737-800NG<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 Bombardier Q-400 Next Gen<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 Bombardier CRJ-900 NextGen<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 Boeing 737-700NG<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In an earlier interview, <strong>Fouad Caunhye, Chief Commercial Officer at RwandAir<\/strong>, revealed that the airline expects to receive its fourth Airbus before the end of the year, alongside additional Boeing 737s. <em>\u201cBy September, our fleet will include a fourth Airbus A330 and two more Boeing 737s,\u201d<\/em> he noted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The airline projects a <strong>15\u201320% increase in seat kilometers<\/strong>, growing from 100 million to about 500\u2013600 million, a move expected to capture a larger share of the African aviation market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Caunhye emphasized that RwandAir\u2019s long-term goal is to transform Kigali into a regional aviation hub, similar to Dubai\u2019s role internationally. <em>\u201cIn the next five years, our focus is on expanding routes and improving service quality, ensuring passengers enjoy a world-class experience from ticket purchase to final destination,\u201d<\/em> he said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>RwandAir has announced the addition of two Boeing 737-800 aircraft to its fleet, boosting the national carrier\u2019s capacity for short and medium-haul routes.
