It was <strong>Friday, October 10, 2025<\/strong>, and fifteen promising youth-led projects were being celebrated for their creativity and progress under <strong>Imbuto Foundation\u2019s iAccelerator program<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The projects\u2014ranging from health tech to social innovation\u2014were the top scorers out of 40 entries. Ten of them received <strong>Rwf 10 million each<\/strong> and months of mentorship to bring their visions to life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"920\" src=\"https:\/\/waramutse.icu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/33-32-1024x920.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-178\" srcset=\"https:\/\/waramutse.icu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/33-32-1024x920.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/waramutse.icu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/33-32-300x269.jpg 300w, https:\/\/waramutse.icu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/33-32-768x690.jpg 768w, https:\/\/waramutse.icu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/33-32-1536x1380.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/waramutse.icu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/33-32.jpg 1898w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Among them is <strong>Kozzy Wellness<\/strong>, a mental health initiative led by <strong>C\u00e9line Diana Bizimungu<\/strong>, who proudly shared how her team has been visiting schools and communities to raise awareness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe\u2019ve met hundreds of young people struggling silently,\u201d she said. \u201cThe support we got helped us reach them and connect experts who can make a real difference.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But not everyone had such luck early on. <strong>Marie Ange Raissa Uwamungu<\/strong>, who runs <em>Impanuro Girls Initiative<\/em>, said missing out on iAccelerator taught her perseverance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIt took me five years to find a sponsor. Those who get this support instantly should grab it with both hands,\u201d she advised.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For <strong>Imbuto Foundation CEO, \u00c9lodie Shami<\/strong>, these stories reflect the program\u2019s true purpose \u2014 building confidence and capability among youth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWhen we trust young people and equip them, they perform miracles,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Government leaders echoed that message. <strong>Brave Ngabo<\/strong> from the Ministry of Youth said such initiatives are crucial for job creation and national development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Launched in <strong>2016<\/strong>, iAccelerator continues to prove that when Rwanda\u2019s youth are empowered, innovation thrives \u2014 and dreams once written on paper can reshape the nation\u2019s future.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In a packed room of young dreamers and innovators, the energy was electric.
