Only a small percentage earn more than half a million francs monthly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Employment insecurity also remains a major concern. Fewer than half of journalists surveyed have long-term employment contracts, while around 20% work as freelancers without stable agreements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Housing data from the survey indicates that 68.9% of journalists rent their homes, 24.3% own houses, while others live with relatives or friends.
