Held from <strong>July 26 to August 2<\/strong>, the festival concluded with electrifying performances by <strong>African music icons Ayra Starr, Kizz Daniel, Timaya, The Ben, DJ Senshi<\/strong>, and others\u2014uniting campers, coaches, and the local community under the theme of a <strong>borderless Africa<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>A Vision of Unity Through Sport and Culture<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cOur strength lies in unity,\u201d said <strong>Masai Ujiri<\/strong>, Co-Founder of Giants of Africa. \u201cThis festival proves that when African youth come together through basketball, music, and culture, they become tomorrow\u2019s leaders. I\u2019m deeply grateful to <strong>President Paul Kagame<\/strong> and the people of Rwanda for believing in this shared vision.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Basketball Excellence on Display<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The festival featured a <strong>four-day basketball tournament<\/strong> hosted at <strong>Kigali Sports City<\/strong>, which includes the iconic <strong>BK Arena, Amahoro Stadium<\/strong>, and the newly inaugurated <strong>Zaria Court Kigali<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Rwanda\u2019s boys team<\/strong> triumphed over Senegal in the finals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Mali\u2019s girls team<\/strong> secured back-to-back championships by defeating Senegal.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An <strong>All-Star Game<\/strong> at Zaria Court showcased one standout boy and girl from each participating country, highlighting Africa\u2019s rising basketball talent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Coaching, Mentorship, and Cross-Cultural Connections<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">More than <strong>100 coaches<\/strong>, including four from each country, mentored the youth, emphasizing leadership and personal development both on and off the court.
