After receiving treatment at <strong>CHUB Hospital<\/strong> in <strong>Huye District<\/strong>, she had been discharged to continue recovery at home. Sadly, on Sunday morning, she was rushed back to the hospital, but was pronounced dead upon arrival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Mama Mukura<\/strong> was a beloved and passionate supporter of <strong>Mukura Victory Sports<\/strong>, a football club based in Huye. Her devotion to football was unmatched \u2014 rarely missing a match \u2014 and she was also a loyal fan of <strong>Rwanda\u2019s national team, Amavubi<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Her passing has deeply saddened football lovers across the Southern Province and the broader Rwandan sports community.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mukanemeye Madeleine, widely known as &#8220;Mama Mukura&#8221;, passed away on the morning of Sunday, July 3, 2025, at the age of over 100.
